Go OEM....I tried to save a few bucks and it only lasted 4 months. I bought an OEM Philips (already in the housing) the 2nd time around.
OEM will last longer and be less likely to explode which can damage your set or projector.
OEM - $135
aftermarket - $75
My wife found the receipt from the last bulb we bought, 3 1/2 years ago! OEM is the winner.
You may want to check with Frys Electronics if you need one right away. That is where I got my replacement for my Sony rear projection tv. I had bought the 5 year warranty so I got my one lamp free which cost the same as the warranty.
