Default SCCA meeting at Bobby Archer's shop in FW

Hey folks, want to take a ride in the Miata and visit a real race shop and drink free beer? The Texas Region SCCA general meeting will be at Archer's shop Wed. evening and everyone is invited to attend, member or not. Come on down, look at the stuff, including a few race cars, drink a beer or two, and socialize with a folks who share a common interest, (yeah, I know, free beer, screw the cars) all for the cost of gasoline to get you to Henderson St. in FW... You may even find some pizza and stuff to eat...

    That's kinda funny.

Having said that, I got a chance to tour through the shop (and test drive a Birkin ) a year or so ago. There is a lot of cool stuff in the bays behind the shopfront part of the store. If I'm not working tomorrow night I may stop by.

Yep, Wed. Mar. 9th, 7ish... No real meeting, just a friendly get-to-gether with a buch of race and car fanatics. Did I mention the free beer

There had better be free beer, or else I blew it... Yeah, free beer, that's what they said....

Ahhhh, a bunch of you guys wimped out didn't ya
You missed free beer and chicken wings, some decent Vipers, and a few Porsches in the shop, and of course, the customary bench raceing. Maybe next time, huh In a couple of months, the meeting will be at Hooters. Will that entice anyone to come? Yep, beer and boobs trumps beers and cars.... :)

I was working, and I've got a mid-term in composites engineering in the morning.

It's a long way to drive for us southern Oklahomans... Especially on the way back home if there's beer or boobs...

That's very commendable...I suppose the boobs and beer is out too

Seriously, I admire anyone who can spend quality time with his family, in church, rather than geeking around with a bunch of car guys. Even kool Miata guys... :)
