Default Did I f'up my miata? I put the battery cables on the wrong way....

Green has been sitting for a year or two. I'm getter her back into shape for my seconday car. The battery was dead, so I jumped it. First I put the cables on correctly and the car turned over but would not fire. I took the cable off to look under the hood ect. Then I reconnect them the WRONG WAY They were on for about 30 seconds, enought time to get in the car, try and start it, when no buzzer or cranking I doulbe checked the cables and noticed that they where wrong. After reattaching them, no responce at all, no horn, buzzer, lights natta. I took the old battery home and charged it, nothing again. I'm going to pick up a new battery today at batteries plus and then try again tonight. Did I burn something out, fuse?

    Gracias

yep, check the fuses. there should be a battery fuse that protects in cases like this.

I did that once and it blew the main fuse. As Foreverzero89 said, check the fuse.

80 amp for the main fuse and it's bolted in.
    ...and across the line.

Look for the main fuse box under the hood. The main fuse is the largest one in there. IIRC it is 80 amps and is held in place with screws.

It maybe a little hard to find. You may want to call around first. Gabkwong had a tough time finding one for his 99.

For reference, the 1.6 80a MAIN fuse looks like this:
