It depends...is the paint gone or scratched?
A friend of mine has his car keyed on both sides and in need of a repair. Does anyone know there is a place he can take it to w/o repray which estimated to be thousands.

It is a red car, and I think it is down to the white base coat. Can they still touch up the deep one and buff everything else out?

I doubt it can be touched up and buffed out without leaving a mark. Did he actually get an estimate from a body shop? My friend got her BMW keyed down both driver-side doors as well as the quarter panel. Basically the whole left side of the car had to be repainted. I helped her find a shop over in northwest Dallas that fixed it for less than her deductible. I think the final tab was less than $600.

check out Magic Touch in Lewisville. They have some kind of sprayless touch up repair process and told me they could go through and clean up a whole car for $130 bucks. I think they basically have a special paint that they apply by hand and then buff it out. I haven't had them do work on my cars but they did paint a few small trim pieces for me at a really good price and the quality was good.
