Wow. Didn't know they finially finished the bridge section. How do u like running the short version?

Im gunna have to get out there to try it. I was never a fan of ECR since I dont have 400hp :), but this could make it fun for the no hp guys.

I agree. But even the long version looks like more fun CW too because that 2000' straight is downhill now. Nice videos Ken.

The cut thru is not finished. You can tell from the video how rough it is. They use it for emergency vehicles. I got Linda to open it and run CW for a member's day. I told her to pave it smooth and open it for open track days. It was more fun than the 1.7 at MSR.

It was odd going CW. Some turns were completely blind.

Time could have been quicker but I was on old RS3s.

Short CW looks scary but awesomely technical and fun. I would consider driving that track again in this new configuration.

250whp is scary enough in my car, scary enough to break 140mph+ on the back straight.

140+ mph? I call shennanigans. I was barely cracking 120 mph in a 220 whp 1950 lbs car.

That CW format looks like fun though!

The last time I drove my car there (toy run 2010) it was making 265whp/255wtq on a Mustang. I run the car at much lower power levels now for TTB.

265 on a mustang is probably like 280-290 on a dynojet which is believable. How much does it weigh?

More like 12% differential to the Dynojet. It weighs 2440 w/driver.

I've driven ECR a number of times with the Porsche club, but never CW. Looks like fun, with a bit less "pucker factor" on corner 3 (I hate how dusty that corner gets and the fact that the run-off is all grassy and down hill). But the corner 7 and 8 complex -- what I like to call the "mini corkscrew" -- doesn't look as fun CW. And that "short track" cut through... I watched that video and kept thinking "get to the right to set up corner 8... get to the right to set up corner 8...", only to see you run right through corner 8 to take that cut through!

    Nice video... thanks for sharing.
