Suggestion on turbo

Well as some may know I had bought a 93 with a 1.8 swap and now it's time to start upgrading! Anyone have any suggestions on turbos? looking at around 200whp! and yes I posted up on miata turbo

Go for a FM or a Begi. Depends on how much money you have to drop.

I'd go FM over Begi. FM's support is well known to be excellent. Begi, um... eh... spotty at best.

You'll find fanboys for both FM and BEGI, as well as DIY-types. I'd vote FM. That way, you know what you're getting (and when) when you order.

Personally, I don't want to spend turbo-sized money and then have to modify parts to fit or wait on a one-off part to be made at some future date. Also, some people will debate the finer points of thermal transfer or exhaust pulse flow, etc. If you go from normally-aspirated to forced-induction, the difference is so huge as to be transformational. At 200rwhp, I defy you to be able to detect a difference of 10hp without the aid of a dyno or a stopwatch. It's darn fast either way and loads of fun too. Make it painless while you're at it and go FM.
