Since no one else wants to post, I will. These are fastest lap times on each course. Those with an asterik(*) were track records, at the time.
My first time on a track, was in the Fall of 1989, just after the first Miatas and the re-designed Nissan 300ZX came out. I had bought a Z and my wife of the moment had bought a Miata. Novice that I was, I would go into a turn at, what I believed to be, a too fast speed, lifted, and promptly spun....just about everywhere at TWS on the long course. It was suggested that I try the Miata, and I WAS IN HEAVEN! I finally started getting the hang of it and, as they say, "the rest is history"! I bought my first Miata in October of 1991 :)

I feel pretty good, knowing I was less than two seconds off of your SSB time at Hallet, in only my second time at that track.
Was that in an NA or NB?

Seeing that he has it dated 8/98.......Originally Posted by altiain
Just an FYI...the early NB's were built in March '98 (Sparky!)Originally Posted by Titus
That’s true, but I didn't think that it was likely that he would have an NB on the track that quickly. I guess I should consider that it is Merv, who probably pre-ordered a 99 and was the first on the block with one.Originally Posted by sammm
Not me...this time. I raced the same car from 1996 to 2001.

V700's My average lap times this event were ~1:43:00, which would support the idea that it's time for a new alignment to go along with my new street tyres and such in the next few weeks. At any rate I had tons of fun, especially drifting the course instead of racing it!Originally Posted by rx7gslse
