Vorshlag Open House + SCCA Solo Annual Tech, March 10th, 2012!
Many of you know that Vorshlag relocated to a new facility last September. Much of the construction was completed before we moved in, which many folks watched as we shared live pictures, and we've been working hard to put the finishing touches on our showroom and shop areas since then. To get the word out about our new location and to kick off the 2012 racing season we are having an open house party at the shop for our customers and friends. The Texas Region SCCA is also having their "annual autocross technical inspection" at our facility the same day. If you run this region's SCCA autocrosses you can have your car tech'd here on the 10th and you are set for the year - no more waiting in the tech line at each event.

Directions: If you know the city of Plano, we are located right across highway 75 from the Cinemark Legacy 24 theater... you can see our sign from their parking lot. Our building faces highway 75's northbound access road, but you have to enter our commercial complex from Avenue K. If you are coming from 75, exit Legacy, head east 100 yards on Legacy, then north on K for about 200 yards. Enter the complex on the left and head to the back, towards highway 75. You'll see us there.
The open house and tech party is Saturday, March 10th, from 9 am to 4 pm. Normally we are closed on Saturdays but we are going to be open that day for the party. We will have food, drinks, and give tours of the shop. You can see the cover car from the current issue of GRM - our $2011 Challenge winning BMW E30 V8 (which is going to be up for sale!), check out some of the cars showing the fabrication, exhaust, and other service work we can tackle.

No alignments yet. We are looking at what it will take for us to start doing real alignments, space, equipment, etc...
Well I refuse to align my car until you do.

Shop looks really nice from the OUTSIDE! Turnout was pretty low at 11:00 this morning. Guess I'll read the DATE on the post more carefully next time.
