Thanks to Jerrett for letting me codrive yet again!

In related miata news, I can't drive one fast to save my life

    Stupid left side course.

Not that I drove great, but I never could conquer the sweeper on the left, which really killed me. I'd suck even more at Nascar than AutoX.

Still, the ProSolo is always an awesome, unique event. Anyone who hasn't attended one should really try to make it out next year.

Might be some good left turn practice for you...

Great event. Lesson learned, if you get into the brain fart challenge (bonus) and have 4 tenths after your first run do not push it..... And that was my best run on the left. Great job by all and killer courses by JJ. Slates you need to run a National class buddy....

Not too thrilled that I couldn't find the speed I had last week and I got out driven by KenO-face, but it was still a great time and some excellent courses. Can't believe how hard it was to figure out those sweepers; they seemed simple enough, but they were the make-or-break of the courses, IMHO. I thought I drove the rest of the course pretty well, but I left at least a second on the sweeper on both sides.

Texas Region represented pretty well, all things considered.

Enjoyed the courses and the event, if not my finish position. Already thinking about the courses for next year, if they bring it back. Great job by everyone involved, especially Mark Berry, Kurt Janish, Greg Piper, Steve E, and everyone else who pitched in cleaning up the surface. And let's not forget the Maxcys -- Brad and Jenn.

Hey Steve E - a REALLY big thanks for helping me all weekend with air pressure adjustments. It helped me stay close to all those 4x4s in the RT class. JJ. Great courses. That sweeper on the right just kicked my butt - even after working that corner I don't think I got it right more than a couple of times all weekend. Steve, maybe if I am lucky RT will turn into a well subscribed national-level class. If not, maybe something else ....

I was surprised how well the Miata or MX-5 (I know how touchy some people are) did with all the extra weight in it.
    M3 is always the answer.

Well they are somewhat camber challenged..... We call rider alongs camber adders. In you case it was just all-in-one.

I had a great time. I think I will attend some drag races to get some practice with a tree. I was very inconsistent with my reaction times. Still, it was a ton of fun.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Great event overall, surface prep was great, but some of the bumpy areas in the middle of features really shook things up. It could not have been nicer weather too. Now just need to recover from the sunburn and wallet burn getting to this one

What a blast. Another outstanding production by the Maxcy's.

Good folks all around, good times all around.

Lots of thanks to be handed out, from the event chiefs to the setup and tear down crews to the TX Regionians who stayed late to work the challenge. But an extra big thanks goes to Kurt Janish and Mark Berry for busting their tails all week and weekend. Starting Wednesday these guys optimized the surface and continued in between heats and after daily competition. Mark B didn't even run...

Thanks for helping me out Doug. Finally learned during the bonus challenge to tame the adrenaline and drive less aggressive right up to the point when I saw Sharon working course and promptly hit a cone I should not have been close to. Big thanks to David & Matt for the coaching. I listened for the left side and 2/3rds of the right... Big kudos to those that did the heavy lifting for this event.

I swiped a couple pics from Jerrett's album and added them to some video we shot. Quality is pretty crummy, but it's still fun to watch. I'm such a goofball...

The event was awesome with some great, yet challenging courses by Mr. Jan. Solo RX-7 really drove the wheels off the vette this weekend. Congrats on your win Mr. Lucas!

I like how you can see Armstrong's oil on the second course.
