Very good course. Wish "that one corner" wasn't so dirty.

    Great event overall.

    No complaints what-so-ever.

Oddly, the dust creates a paradox where the regular Bus Lot surface becomes "grippy" by comparison. Surprised a wormhole didn't open up or something. The one dirty corner was tough, but the rest was actually a lot of fun, and a rush with that nagging "don't get off the clean line!" in the back of your mind.

I enjoyed the course and the terrific turnout! A little better balancing of the heats would be a good idea, but a great event overall.

Someone ran over my air compressor in grid today...and stayed silent. With a little TLC, it is now fully functional again. It looks like but works fine.

And, I don't think I was able to park in the same grid spot twice today. Boy, people were moving all around.
Was that your white cap and Longacre pressure gauge? He got it too. He also got hollered on by David for not pulling straight out of his spot. Light blue car with an N on the side is all I remember.

I would have won CS but finished in the bottom third of Tire class - stoopid pax.

Big thanks to Neal B for telling me I was slow and lazy twice - it helped.

fun course but I hate the bus lot

only good for practicing drying rain conditions (anywhere else)

I'm not going to enter for the entire 2013 season till I see where SCCA is going to run

not going to do the bus lot 7 events next year

and PAX is meaningless at the bus lot

if you aren't in last heat or have AWD or Hoosiers, you don't have much of a chance to place highly

Although it changes things up from an event management perspective, morning and afternoon heats (like NTAXS or BMW do) would allow everyone to have a shot at a rubbered-in course.

If Charles in the white NB at the event is on this board, please shoot me a PM. I have some info on something we were discussing.

Autocross is stupid and yet retardedly fun. Thank you to everyone that does all the work putting on these events so we have a place to play with our toys. Good times!

I never did find when they run the warm up session.

Yes. I didn't even think about looking at the hat or gauge.

I just looked at the hat, it does have a tire track across the bill. If I only had one of those hats with the bill in the back, he would have missed it. And the pressure gauge has a couple of nicks in the hose. Both still work fine.

I'm not taking anything to grid again.

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

I learned that also. Lost 2 tire inflators and even had a bottle of water crushed at grid. Nothing is safe there.

Hmm, well last I checked my 1998 BMW 328is doesn't have AWD or hoosiers, lol! In fact I was on 13 month old RS3's that are worn out! Dang, how the heck did I end up 2nd in the PAX??

Just a couple of notes here folks....

SCCA & all the other clubs are having a difficult time with sites lately! Lone Star Park raised their lot rental fee to $2,500 per day ($1,500 MORE than last year). Pennington Field has decided to impose rather steep requirements on the insurance requirements. There's a good chance SCCA will be returning to Penn Field but some items are still being worked out with the SCCA National Office on our insurance policy.

I'm sorry some of you don't like the Bus Lot, but at this point we are rather limited on sites.

We're trying to work on new sites but it does take time. And site owners are not always conducive to our plight.

    Brad,

Nothing is wrong with the Bus Lot. Maybe the new site Andy found in Mesquite will replace Lone Star. The management guido at Lone Star was a total tool.

Probably best to keep comments like this out of a public forum
