I am guessing you have thought about putting a screw in the hole instead of putting on a cap.
I am desperately in need of a new coolant sealing cap. This is the rubber cap that goes on the back of the head on 1.6 Miatas to cap off an unused coolant nipple. If you have a spare on the shelf, I will buy it from you TODAY, and have a new one shipped to your door later in the week. The 93LE sprung a leak here and our Tahoe lost it's transmission less than 24 hrs later, so I really need this fixed today!

Is the part the same on 1.8s? If so and you get desperate, my 94 is out of commission for the next couple weeks at least, let me know if I could be of any help. I don't even know if an old cap would come off in one piece(never actually seen this part myself), but yea if you get desperate.

Hi, I just had to repair mine not more than a month ago and all that I used was a section of autozone fuel hose of similar width and a bolt to block the other end, plus 2 hose clamps. It worked perfectly. Best luck to your LE's speedy recovery.
