Diff/Axle Issues

Long story short, I ran something over, it got caught on my axle and diff and it started clicking. and now there's a gap between the diff and the axle. the other side doesnt have a gap, is my diff screwed?

Is it leaking oil?
If yes, they you will have to replace the seal, hopefully the axle shaft is not scored or you may need a new stub axle.

Those stub-axles are easy to remove and replace the seal. $4-5.

The axles are held in the diff by a c-ring clip on the axle. When you order the seals also order new clips. ($1.50each) You may just be able to shove the axle back in until it the clip sets. But check it for leaks afterward.
