lol, i think that would be a case of too much power and too little traction. that reminds me, i asked ECR about vert rules, i never heard back. I'll ask again.

Is that a Sparco Evo 2 seat?
What was involved in getting it to fit? Transmission tunnel work, trimming the seat?
    How is it mounted?

yes, it is. no trans tunnel mods, this is the standard Evo 2 previous design, its several years old. It's really a temp seat, i ordered a ultrasheild seat, but it was 5 weeks out. Keith had this one around the garage and gave it to me to use. It's mounted directly to the floor pan of the car. the rear factory mounts are removed and the front mount remains. Basically he placed the seat in the car where it was comfortable for me and drilled straight through the fiberglass shell and through the floorpan of the car, used grade 5 bolts, washers, and locking nuts to sinch the seat down.

YMMV, the cage in my car is specifically made for clearance with lower than normal door bars and it tightly hugs the car frame. i mean tightly too, you can't slip a kids finger between the cage and the car body anywhere, just enough space so it doesnt rub and squeak constantly. Keith used some wood blocks under the seat to lift it slightly for harness passage and get a comfortable rake. i need to find somewhere to order a center cushion for the seat, it's a bit rough on the backside to sit directly on the fiberglass for long times. i expect to resort to the BFH when the ultrashield gets here.
