Very Cool!!!
Mrs. Cone-cerned and I went to the "Party on the Patio" at the Petroleum Museum in Midland last Saturday. Jim Hall was there and he drove the Chaparral 2D around the parking lot for about six minutes. It was very relaxed and fun. We had a great time. Everyone there was really friendly. We had BBQ with all the trimmings after the live drive. Mr. Hall signed my cap. He was among the most casually dressed of the group of about 50. It was a very small group because the event was for Chaparral Pit Crew Fan Club members only.

I don't think that you need to be a member of the museum or the Pit Crew Fan Club to buy the swag. The cap is only available in white or black. But, why would you want a black Chaparral cap? All the Chaparrals were white except the 2K that JR won Indy with, it is Pennzoil yellow. They don't seem to have a lot of merchandise, just a few shirts and the two caps, and they don't seem to stock many of any of them.
