Now all you need is a balancer and I'll be there!
Some of you may have seen NeilAgg classified for a HF tire changer well I got it and it is pretty cool!
Finally got it mounted to the floor today! I did flush mount so I can remove it when it isn't in use (It is set up where the Cadillac normally resides). I even got setscrews to go in the inserts to keep everything all nice and neat when the tire changer is being stored.
I took off a set of wasted Star Specs and put on a set of Pirrelli's. Well all but one I found a nail in one need to fix it before I mount it to the rim.
This thing is a workout, but it does do what it says it will do!
I really need to get the tire bar recommended by Davidss and I need to get some better tire soap for the tires. Figure that will make it easier and nicer on the rims.![]()

POS will just balance with chewin' gum and pennies instead of weights.

Sold a commercial bubble balancer with weights a few years ago for $15 and was happy to get that much.
Back in day the when we went from wood to rubber the spin balancer won out over the bubble balancer.
I hear fish oil is the preferred lubricant when mounting tires.
I don’t think you want to use an oil, the tire may spin on the wheel. You want to use something that will dry and not be slippery after the tire is mounted. I would use soapy water.
