anybody been to seattle?

Just wondering if anybody has been to seattle before?
after 3 yrs of not getting any vacations, i scored some, and decided to go to seattle....
yet im still trying to figure out what exactly to do other than the space needle.
any recommendations?

Yes, a few times. But unless you skate or are just there for a layover to Mount Hood, I got nothing for you. Sorry. It's a fun place though, so isn't too hard to find something to do, provided you're not just looking for touristy things.

thats exactly what i dont want to do, i want to find the cool small pubs and just the things that "tourists" usually dont get to see cuz they dont look for em

Yeah that's all I ever had time to do there. One of my cousins lives out that way - actually is a bartender somewhere near there. I'll pick his brain for you, especially since I haven't been there since 2001.

What are your likes/dislikes? sports bars? English pubs? Trendy emo kids crying bars? Dance clubs? Biker bars? That kinda thing. I'm sure it'd help more than just asking him "what's a good bar?"

We went year before last. Smelled like Hippies.... but, we did all the touristy stuff. we stayed in downtown seattle and used the public transport to move around downtown, but if we were to do it again i'd get a rental car to have more freedom of movement.

space needle, aquarium, pikes place, harbour tour, zoo, museum of modern art, asian art museum and we ate at a nice restaurant nightly.

My sister in law lives in Seattle so this spring we went to Cincinnati!



Actually wife and I lived in Portland, Or we went to Seattle a few times it is like a West Coast Cleveland! We did like Portland and the Oregon Coast is awesome!
