I've peaked at 230 sitting in traffic in my MSM (stock rad/fans) Really need some ducting for my car.
My '99 has been getting pretty warm when I get stuck in stop and go traffic on 35 when it's 100 plus out. I've seen at least 210 F in my data logs. I just put in a Koyo radiator this morning and took the car for a drive. Doing several red-line pulls I saw a max of 201 F (Never got in stop and go). I also let the car idle on some black top with the AC on full. After 10+ minutes or so I saw 205 F (shut it down at that point).
Just currious what kind of temps everyone else is seeing this heat.
Also, anyone know how I can tell if the radiator I pulled out is an OEM unit? It'll be for sale soon in the classifieds... it's only two years old.

Ducting is on my to-do list.
What's the temp that the car needs to stay below for safety? My MegaSquirt is programmed to warn me when the temps get above 205 (CEL starts to flash), but that seems low to be really concerned about.

220*f in traffic in my car. Your sensor is a little optimistic...well, it reads high if it's anything like mine. Eventually we can adjust the calibration range, but that day is not today.
TXMC: Drinkin, shootin, racin!
I saw 207 after my final autox run today and leaving the car idling. In traffic, I typically see 197-201 peak temps. I think the highest I've ever read was 211 in the grid at the drag races after several back to back runs and no breeze.
