NEW Guy "not in the neighborhood" out of town

Hello everyone. I just wanted to jump in here and say hello. I live in Texarkana and would love to come your way for a visit some day to meet some (be nice to put a face to the rumors I've heard :) of you in person. My wife and I just brought our dream cars. Her's is a 92 Sunburst with an Automatic tranny in it, #197. We found it in Chicago, very nice clean ride with 77000 miles on it. We both jumped on a plane and headed to Chicago to pick it up and the ride home in it was great.

My little baby's name is Sunflower. Some of you might know of her, she came from Knoxville,Tennessee. She belonged to a fellow by the name of "underdog" whom has put numerous pics of her on miataturbo.com. He has a rebuild thread there that he had done on Sunflower. She is totally back to stock now and I just love driving her. Oh, she is a 92 Manual Sunburst w/HT #576. She had 78000 miles on her when I got her and she is just as pretty now as she was when she was new on the showroom floor. She's a beautiful little car.

My wife and I both drive Black Miatas........Hers is a '92 BnT and I have a 93LE.
Hers was an automatic that we got for her dad when he turned 80.
Now it here, and converted to 5sp.

Weird....I just finished painting a hardtop Sunburst.

There is a contingent of miata autocrossers out in your area who venture to DFW occasionally. If you decide to give it a try, they are a great bunch.
