ABBA? I think your new nickname will be Jim "Dancing Queen" H.

Phil O and the police may have the firemen covered with driving experience and that sort of thing, but if my team of firemen lack in speed we will make it up for it with sheer will, determination, sabotage and outright cheating! :)
I am the Cookie Monster, not the macaroni monster.
There has never been a gravel-free run at that site. That's part of the charm.:)

Anyone bringing tools tomorrow? Could use some help adjusting the white line end links I installed today. Also did racing beat front sway which went smoothly. Will try to get there early. It's 11/16 socket and socket wrench for the hardware and a 11/16 open ended wrench for adjusting.
2002 Mazda Miata LS Silver 6speed. Racing Beat Dual Exhaust, HDHCHTDD roll bar, Racing Beat Front Sway Bar, Whiteline end links.
I'll have some tools. I may have what you need. Look for my red corvette.

Great event today. Fun course, though the criss-cross made the event a little slower-running. Different use of the site than any before.
The rain made for some good wet-setup practice. Hope we don't need it for Nats, but it was nice to get to feel the cars reactions in it, just in case. JFo will be up to speed in no time, based on his driving today.
Thanks to the Guns n Hoses folks. They were fun to watch competing against each other, and they are genuinely nice folks. I'm glad the club and participants were so generous. I hope we see some of them at future events. They certainly said they had a blast!
Nice driving MarkW and ChrisR: the folks in your classes at Nats better watch out.

So who did Jerrett have to blow to get 12th when we tied for rapide pax?
Edit: Upon looking at the results again, I saw that my last pax run was DNF'ed. I know I went out of the finish chute but I came back in right where I exited. Doesn't that still count as a good run?

I can't remember which car it was, but in the last heat I was on corner 4. We saw a car go off just after the timing lights, turn around and go back in, but they came back through the wrong two cones. We made sure we all saw the same thing and called in a DNF. Not sure if it was you or not, but I remember this happening to somebody.
By the way, i'm quickly realizing that I am an awful driver. Maybe I should do more than three events every couple years.

I wonder if missing the whole crossover section and going strait to turn 2 from the start counts as a dnf.... LMAO that was freegin funny!
Not funny if you were working corner 1. Good thing they were watching.

Just another reason cell phones, cameras, and blindfolds are not a good idea when working a corner. I had to explain that to two of the guys on my corner in the first B heat and the guys on the adjoining corner in the next heat.I wonder if missing the whole crossover section and going strait to turn 2 from the start counts as a dnf.... LMAO that was freegin funny!
Big shout out to Jim H for that ABBA plan that gave me gravel and rain
It was a good site and a very well run event. I'd go back even if Guns and Hoses aren't there.
