it is. i think he may have taken a few bucks off since there are no tires to be disposed of, and they are only putting them on the rims and not the car.

Just called and it looks like I'll be picking up a set for the Miata and the DD. Don't really need either today, but too good of a deal to pass up. The price blows away anything else I could find and the price I was given on the DD tires is $200 less then the shipped price on Tire Rack.

What tires are you going with on the DD? I have some camber wear on the edges and if it's that good of a deal I might need to buy a set.

Michelin PSS 285/35-20 & 295/35-20. I usually buy a set a few months before I need them just in case my right foot gets heavy.

It's $420 to buy two rears to match the ones on the front of the 930. $520 after rebate to buy a full set of RS3s.... guess I need to go see Todd to order some.

Will the computers freak out with such a small stagger? How much? We really like those on the Cayman S.

I appreciate the discount but a percentage discount would be better for me.
$100 / ~20% off when your tires cost $492 a set is great. $100 / ~8% off when your tires are $1,148 doesn't make me run to DT for tires.
    M3 is always the answer.

You don't deserve more than 8% off. They should be charging you extra for asshattery.

No the computer won't freak out since the difference since the stock stagger is .1" front to rear and this is .2" difference in overall height. There have been a lot of owners running 285 square for a long time both street and track with no ill effects. I don't want to post the price here but I'll PM you.

We can get star specs also. We get them from tirerack but still guarantee the lowest price.

This weekend it's $50 rebate for any 2 tires, and $100 for Any set of 4 wheels or tires and can be combined for $200 if you get wheels and tires

Quick question. Do 225/15/45 RS3s fit on stock 15x6 rims and if yes, do they require fender rolling? Just bought a 2002 and have been researching tires, allowed mods under the rules, etc. I want to run in stock class. This sounds like a good deal if they fit.

Doubt they will fit the wheel very well. Consider 205 Kumho XS as an alternative. The Kumho is also cheaper.

Street tires do.not like to be squeezed onto narrow wheels like r comps do. Even if it fits, it will be horribly sloppy.

On a 15x6 I would go with the Dunlop Star Spec. It's sidewalls are really stiff and would be the fastest tire on that rim size (probably even better than the R1Rs).

    15x6 a 205/50r15 will do well.
