If that's the header you are talking about, unfortunately I don't think it will work for me as it's probably spaced for the 1.8 head exhaust ports. I got the 1.6 motor. Let me know which one you've got.
Pulling the engine and other components out of my 96 Miata. Here is the list on items for sale. Will sell all as a package or individually. You can drive the car NOW if you would like to feel the power of this engine, but will be pulling it next week. Email me for pictures, questions or come by the shop.
Engine $750: 115K miles, timing belt and water pump changed at 110K. Engine is clean top to bottom with no oil leaks or even any leftover residue. Rear crank seal replaced with clutch, again no leaks. Engine is set up currently with Racing Beat header, TDR intake and Mega Squirt PNP. RWHP was 125 at the dyno. This engine is my track engine, but the compression numbers below show the solid condition of this engine. Mileage may be high, but not an issue on a solid engine like this. I would have no problem putting forced induction on this engine. Will not include coil pack, throttle body and CAS unit as these components will go back on the new engine we are building.
Cylinder Compression Leak Down
1 180 4%
2 172 8%
3 178 6%
4 178 6%
Clutch $500: Clutch is our SPEC Stage 2 Plus with aluminum pressure plate option (2 lbs less and better at transferring heat from the steel friction plate) and aluminum flywheel, new $900. This is our best street and track setup for non-boosted setups. Stage 2 Plus is our hybrid setup that uses Kevlar on one surface and Carbon Ceramic on the other surface. Clutch feels perfect, no chattering and easy to modulate. Has about 2500 miles on it. Pedal pressure about the same as stock. Can be installed on the 1.6 or 1.8 engine.
TDR Intake $100: This is our TDR setup using 2 ¾”, 5-ply silicon hose with K & N air filter. New setup is $190. Since engine is setup for the Mega Squirt the hose is longer to eliminate the MAF unit. And has provision for the air temperature sensor.
Racing Beat Header $300: We installed this maybe 1000 miles ago so virtually new. Header new is $439.
Mega Squirt PNP1 $350: This is for 96-97 model OBDII Miatas. It includes air temperature sensor currently in the TDR intake setup. New would cost $650. Programming is complete for this current engine setup. Unit is only about 6 months old.

Yeah, I am keeping the oil companies in business with the amount of oil I am using. Also, my clutch is beginning to clatter more. At 220K miles, its time for a refresh. Its a good deal getting the clutch with the engine since there wont be any labor for the clutch. I will be putting off the NC purchase for a few years.
