On my '02 it was one of the 100 little bastard hoses tht snake to the oil cooler.![]()
The '99 has developed a coolant leak. Nothing major (yet), car is not overheating, but it leaks even when then engine is cold. Pulled the belly pan expecting a lower rad hose/clamp but it appears dry. Upper hose seems fine as well. Rad and drain ok..
The water is dropping from where the lca meets the front subframe. Shining light everywhere and can't seem to find the source. It appears "possibly" from the area where the heater hose goes to the rear of the head, but those hoses look and feel fine. It's pretty cramped back there though.
Ant thoughts or common failure points on the '99? Have yet to begin searching the pointy board. TIA

What POS said, pressure tester FTW.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

I have one.
It has found leaks that didn't leak.![]()
Disregard. It was the lower hose. The worm gear clamp was barley finger tight? All is good.
I feel like Jezza now. "I mended something!"
