There are no broomstick tests at scca autocross for nearly all street vehicles. You are probably looking at the SCCA rules for track/club racing, which are totally different from SoloII rules. Unless its an open-wheel car or some type of Modified class, cages/roll bars are not required.

I confirmed today that the food concession area will be open for Sunday's autocross at Dallas Raceway. Please support the track concession folks that come out to prep & sell the food for us! Concessions will be open from 11am to 2pm.
Also, the track manager has agreed to open the West Paddock lot bathrooms.
See ya Sunday, Coneheads!!
All the event info is at www.texassolo.org
Btw, we're starting to use Twitter more for event updates. Our profile is @TexasSolo
The concession guy is my tire-flipping guy down here in Glen Heights! Massey Tire Co. Nobody faster or cheaper if you don't have high-dollar BMW wheels or need them well-balanced!! Good people, buy their food!

Excellent course! Challenging, nice mix of fast and slow speed, good use of the camber changes in the lot. I'm still trying to figure the surface out though. It seems to be right at the edge of needing a rear bar but not quite. Phil & I left the Lincoln set-up on the car sans rear bar and just played with rear pressures. We decided that we just had to live with a little push out of the 180s. Love the site but it shore is a long way from Parker County..... of course that is what the Dallas folks say about the Mineral Ring.
One thing of note, it was amazing the amount of smack that the STR crowd was talkin' about old Bandit....
BTW, who left the tire trailer against the railing on the bridge?
I had my RB rear bar on an it felt pretty good.
We saw that, too. Not sure if a drag racer left it or what. Odd day, what with the tire trailer and drunk security guard telling me that I could have gone faster if I lost 20 or 30 pounds. WTF?!?!? I heard he really put on a show at the end of trophies.
