If they are rolling them across a block, they will generally drive them, but that's about it. Smell the oil/tranny fluid, check the frame rails for bends and look for signs of towing wear. Bring a good mechanic/mechanical knowledge and avoid whatever the dealers aren't bidding on. Never be the first one to bid, and its often best to wait until the bids have slowed a bit before you jump in.
Either way, its always "as-is."
Low retail on the Maserati is only $56K! I'd go as high as $25K, sight-unseen!
