Full on HPDE? No, I'm attending with the idea of having a full on RACE!

I am an ass hat no matter the setting.

Oh, and if you're an autocrosser and expect ECR to be a cinch, you may wanna enter Pike's Peak next year too.
Ouch! Are we still going Full Force Foley up in here?

I'm in. How long is that back straight? I may bring the Yellow Escort.

Then Fair! wouldn't have the only Ford there.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

The safe line is race"safe line" is rarely the "fast line".

I might only make the AM sessions. Heading to Austin to drive COTA Sunday morning in a Cadillac-yak-yak-yak-yak....

Don't know. I can't imagine that a caddy is fun in a parking lot. I will wait to see what the earlier groups say.

I did some digging on the Vlab website looks like there are 3 groups, 1 in a parking lot 2 on track. Description says you rotate stations/groups so it looks like there will be some actual track time on COTA.

If you've got a reservation, you can browse through the event iteinerary on the V-Series Lab website. It shows three "modules" - Module 1 looks like some skidpad exercise, but Modules 2 & 3 are shown to utilize the entire course.

I won't make the Toy Run this year. I'll be taking a nice back roads drive down to Austin Saturday afternoon. I'm looking forward to driving COTA!

wtf? why haven't we heard about this before now? invite only?

ok nm I found it. Looks like fun. I heard COTA rents for 50k a day so looks like a very pricey promo for Cadillac.

Nope, I saw a link to it on Fair!'s Facebook feed and signed up immediately. It filled up pretty damn fast (not surprising), so if you didn't catch it the day it was posted, you were SOL.

Bummer, no flaming Stook's to entertain us. Looks like we'll have to rely on KenO for the douchery.

Is registration still open? And if I just bought a new car ... will they allow it on the track without modification? Sorry if these are dumb questions. I put the NEW in newb.

    Thanks,

Email Maggie (see 1st post) at ECR and ask her those questions....I'd think they would let you run in the beginner's group.
