Broken line = 5th gear grind?
I thought my transmission fluid either leaked or it was time for a flush.. Well, neither were the case. I don't know that this is but it's broken off in a weird way and its on the opposite side from the filler plug. There's metallic-y fluid that looks like it ran down from the broken part to the power-plant frame. What is it? Could this be the cause of my 5th gear grinding when I shift into it? Whatever it is, it's not meant to be that way.. I know that much lol.
Does anybody know that this hose/line is called? I'm still waiting on some help because I need the name of this part to check with all imports or o'reillys to see if they have it to buy the new part.
Your picture kinda sucks but I'm going to take a half baked guess that that may be the speedometer cable or possible the reverse light wiring harness.
Yeah I know the lighting wasn't letting me take a better pic ._. I'll got take a better shot. I also removed that electrical tape that was wrapped around the brass tip.. And I have no issues with my speedometer :o
