So, I've had a few intermittent issues. Battery is good and new, I recently replaced the ignition switch and the little clutch switch at the top of the pedal since I was still having intermittent starting problems. The starting problem seems to have been fixed but I've noticed that the brake light comes on every once in a while. So as I payed more attention to the brake light, it appears to only come on when I fully depress the clutch pedal and it hits the lower clutch switch. Of course this is only sporadic but is bugging the crap out of me. I wouldn't have thought the brake light on the dash would have been connected or related to the lower clutch switch in anyway. Any thoughts on this? And it appears the lower clutch switch is dealer only as I just spent the last 10 minutes searching online and can only find the upper one. If it isn't expensive I'll just replace it simply because my car just rolled over 301000 miles!
