    Default Clutch Pedal Adjustment NA/NB

Yea I know I should just leave it alone but the Engagement point on the '02 isn't what it was prior to the clutch change.

The engagement point is high on the pedal travel.

I fount this pdf while searching on adjusting the pedal but it talks about the engagement point beiong too low - http://www.flyinmiata.com/support/in...isc/Clutch.pdf

I also scrounged up some scans from a factory service manual:

But I'm still confused on exactly how to do the procedure can someone "science it down a touch" for me.

As I recall, you want to mess with C and D until you like the engagement point, them futz with the pedal height if its a problem or there is no free play. Loosen locknut C, then turn the pushrod until it brings the engagement closer to the floor. Not sure which way, but my guess would be clockwise, as you want the rod shorter. (Insert joke here)

Man even with my agile ninja like abilities that was one big PITA to get under the dash to adjust the engagement point and yes I did pull the seat out of the car.

I can't get under there without taking the drivers seat out. It's only four bolts.

Try it with door bars. It's a real back breaker. Ouch!
