    Default J. O. T. D.

A mother mouse and her three children crept out of their hole into the kitchen and began feasting on some delicious bits of food. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, Mother Mouse saw a cat slinking toward them. The cat was between the mice and their hole. The mother muse puffed up her lungs and went, "Woof! Woof!" The cat turned tail and ran. With that, the mother quickly led her children back to safety in their hole. When they were settle and breathing normally, Mother Mouse said to her children. "Now, what's the lesson from that experience?" "We don't know," the baby mice squeaked. "It is this," said Mother Mouse. "It's always good to know a second language."
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

So these three college kids were on spring break when the cops showed up. They all high-tailed it into the woods, but it seems the cops were a bit overzealous and had dogs! The first kid was at SMU, and no slouch, scrambled up a nearby tree. In no time, though, the dogs were on the tree, barking like mad. The SMU student cupped his hands, and did his best duck call, "Quack! Quack!"

"It's just a damn duck," cried the cops who called off the dogs and continued their pursuit.

Sensing the impending posse, the TCU student scrambled into the next tree he found. But, as before, the dogs were on him in no time, barking like mad! "Whooooo! Whooooo!" called out the TCU student. "It's just an owl!" cried the cops, and continued their chase.

The UT student was running out of time and climbed into a tree with no time to spare. Gotta think fast... Gotta think fast... "Moooooooo!"

It only goes to show when people can no longer discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, or sexual orientation, they can improvise and still find someone to hate. - Dave Moulton
