I'd keep it if you'd starting working on them!

+1 on the GT. We bought our son an '05 v6 base model a year ago. After bringing it home from Austin I was tempted to keep it for myself. I had an 86 GT in a former life and I'm sure its nothing compared to the newer ones.

I'm doing a foamectomy on the NC now, and plan to shorten the dead-pedal too.

The VW GTI is growing on me FWIW.

Shortening or eliminating the NC dead pedal makes a world of difference.

Hey! I bough a 2012 last May when the 2013s were coming in. I got a great deal. Now I have the Miata and Mustang in the garage. They are both fun to drive.

As for the bigger car I was going to suggest the Mazda 3 or Ford Focus ST.

Talk about mid life crisis car.

I can see you on Davis Boulevard a car pulls up at a light and the kids yell out, "Hey mister your grandson has an awesome freaking car!"

Focus ST/RS doesn't do much for me but I don't think I fit the demographic Ford had in mind.

You might as well buy an Eclipse Turbo. LOL!

Phil O is selling his C6 Z51. Get it.

I did shorten the dead-pedal, and it's a big improvement. Now if I could 'fix' the seats I may be happy again. I also cut some foam off the seat bottom bolsters, but they still dig in the sides of my legs.

Well, that dash is a huge improvement over the current iteration! I'm liking where Ford is going with their small cars, but the dash design and layout is just horrible.

    RX-8 R3

Handles like a Miata. More space. Less than $20K. Same SCCA Class. Good Pax index. :)
