Thread: Tire size...

    Default Tire size...

What's the best tire size for a 15x7 rim?

205/50 is slightly taller = more top speed in 2nd gear

225/45 would be nice if someone made it...
Maybe 4 wheels aren't so bad after all... wickett.org

I ran both 205/50-15 and 225/45-15 tireson 15"x7" wheels (as well as 195/50-15 street tires), and really couldn't tell much of a difference among any of them.

What kinda wheels didja get, Sparky? And have you done anything about those brakes yet?

I told Al not to let him have the wheels until he had proof of brake repair...

I just want to know if he got the wheels he won't tell us about in flat black... since that would be so stylin' on the BUR...

I have 195/50/15 and like the low profile look and the ride is good too

I thought you were kidding about the wheels being black in color... it seems black is the only color they can get a hold of right now...

3 to 4 weeks back order on the silvers...

6 weeks, at least, on the Heliums.

    Geez...

    I agree....

Black rims would look shizzle on a Mariner blue.

    Silver is too common.

I thought I read on the board the Brian had a shipment coming, but I can't seem to find the post.

Got the brakes taken care of yet? I'd hate to see you put those nice new rims over those poor excuse for brakes you have!

Serously, nice wheels, 3Bean. Of course, they may look like chrome dubs on a '78 Monte Carlo when you put them on, but nice wheels regardless.

I bought them 'cause they look rather low key... at least compared to something like the Heliums.
