Have you checked the fuses?
I've no knowledge on electrical but willing to learn and trace this problem down in my nb..
Problems :
- No interior dash light (CE,Airbags the 4 sign in the middle work)
- No radio Power (Cig lighter works)
- No tail light at night (Break light works) / (Checked the tail light 15A fuse it was burnt and replace it but that did nothing.)
- No power to OBD2 port (Maybe a lose connector/wires.) <-- checking tomorrow morning.
I was going to take it to the dealership to see but rather not spend $300.
Could this be a relay problem? Or a short?
Did they all fail at once or over time?
Check to make sure the wires directly off the battery positive lead are not corroded and/or broken. Then fuses. I may pop open my manual when I get home to see what the common point is. I'm guessing it is a main lead or a main fuse to one of your fuse boxes.
Isn't there a main ground bolted to the firewall somewhere?
I've checked the
-BTN1 20A fuse
-Room fuse 10A (I believe)
-Meter fuse 10A
-Tail light fuse 15A
And still no luck. The car was like this when I bought it since I picked up for pretty cheap. I'm going to go buy a volt-meter to recheck the fuses again once auto zone open up. I did notice that who ever has this car last took off and did a horrible job wiring the fog lights. Could a bad fog light wiring cause the problem? And samm what do I do once I find the main ground?
Fuse block in the engine bay has 80 amp main fuse.
Yes, the wiring to the fog lights (depending on how they wired them in) could absolutely cause this problem. I'd start undoing the wiring the PO put in and ensuring the existing wiring is in good shape. Then, work the fog lighting back into the wiring that's already provided for it.
