    Default Need help with headlights

So one night I'm driving home on the freeway and my coilovers are set to the stiffest they can probably be so i have a lil bumpy ride...and every time I bounce my headlights bounce too. I've looked and noticed that the little bracket behind the headlight housing has a lot of play, allowing it to flap every time I hit a bump. Does anyone know how I can fix this little issue?

You more than likely need to replace the connecting rod and the two bushings on each end of it. I've not actually done this before but the diagram should help.

What he said and I have done it. Used ones always crack. Buy new from the dealer and snap them on.

Do you know how much the new ones from the dealer cost?

I don't remember but I do remember a little sticker shock.

    Yep.. They were chrome too!

I just didn't expect to pay $32 for two little rods with plastic caps. I was thinking about half that.
