Thread: TCB Windshields

    Default TCB Windshields

Needed a new windshield for Ol' Yeller. (1995 Ford Ranger Pickup)

Called a bunch of place got prices as high as $235.00 most were in the the $160.00 range.

Being cheap and getting to pay for this out of my own pocket I then jumped on Craigslist. Found a couple of adds they were all in the same price range but the last place I called was $125.00 including tax. I said OK lets replace it. They were here in less than 3 hours and had it done in just under 45 minutes. Came with a Lifetime No-Leak guarantee.

Place is Source Auto Glass www.sourceautoglass.com

YMMV & don't run with scissors.

POS, you know there is a Ford Ranger forum. Maybe you should have posted this thread there.

Found an interesting ride that isn't a Miata? Need something to haul around parts, motors, kids or doughnuts? This is the place.

Plus our remaining Miata doesn't need a windshield.

If you delve into the history of why we are here, you will learn that the Miata part is secondary...

I think Titus had worked on the Windshield that I got replaced.

I took POS Racing's advice and clicked on the linkie (it was easy!). $123.99 for a Miata aftermarket windshield installed in your driveway. He said it would be just like the factory windscreen (no tint at the top).

Well shoot me in the foot. I paid $220 3 weeks ago. I kind of like the blue tint at the top now.

Be careful thinking that... My Valentine1 took a field trip via the factory honey trap and Plano PD impound after I got too cocky thinking it was hidden behind tint... PS... If your v1 ever gets stolen, be sure and report it to V1 along with the police report #... It may find its way back home...

Just want to add to the kudos for Source Auto Glass. Called them at 4, had a new windshield installed in my driveway before 8! Extremely reasonable, and it was wel done. The new trim was part of the deal, which was a bonus, since the original was cracked and falling apart.

That's the cool part! He did both for the one low price! And at the same time! He's some kind of magician.
