If you paid for Annual Registration before February 1st, part of the deal was a T-Shirt. Those shirts will be at the 2nd event for pick-up at the registration trailer in the morning.
Need a bit of classing help. Last year I was running STR, but I have since had a MOMO steering wheel installed which, I believe, bumps me to CSP. I seem to remember it could be alright to still run STR if nobody in STR complains about me having a non-factory steering wheel. How should I go about doing that? Additionally, I previously thought I had a Torsen but now I'm no longer sure...

STR will be fine if you have the torsen, STS if you dont.

I've no objections to you running in STR with the MOMO steering wheel.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

I'm offended by your cheater go-fast parts and will protest you on sight. I'll also steal your lunch money.
Then again, I won't make this event. so you're probably safe.

Thanks guys. Registered for STR. Will have to figure out the Torsen later. Is there a simple test I can do with the wheels off the ground? I understand that even if I have one it could be worn out?
Well, conservatively I figure the MOMO is good for at least 10 hp. Factor in the loss of 100lbs from the factory wheel, and it's like a whole new car! In all seriousness though, I'm not sure I would do it again given the chance to do it over. But now that's its easy to replace the wheel maybe I'll find one I like better than the MOMO. All in all, I don't feel the steering wheel gave me much. I was expecting a better, more comfortable grip. I'm a little confused why such a thing would cause a class bump.

It isn't so much a performance advantage as removal of the air bag. The SCCA feels that the class should not promote removal of the safety device. If your car did not have an air bag, then you could replace the wheel.
I don't like it, but dem's the rules so The Dude abides.
