CAS on the passenger side is a B6, CAS on the Driver side is BP.
I have a 1990 Miata with original engine.
How can I tell if it is a BP or B6 engine?
(So I can get some headers)

If your engine is the original 1.6, It's a B6. The only BP 1.6 engines were the detuned ones sold with 94+ automatic-transmission Miatas.
This information was found on Wikipedia and should be taken with a pound of salt.
^I'll take Rogue over Wiki in this case.
There was never a 94+ with a 1.6 unless it was an overseas car. US models were all 1.8 car from 94 and up.

Interesting. I'd heard about that funky 90HP detuned 1.6, but never knew it didn't make it over here.
Thanks for the info.
Craigslist had an ad for headers, $100 both B6 and BP. I picked up a set, but it had a crack so the price moved down to $75.
I can weld it, but it's just a slight pain installing it, tacking, then removing for full weld before final installation.
Maybe I can get away with doing a full weld on first install, we'll see.
