Welcome.
The first year for the 1.8L was 1994. Lot of good information on this and other forums. Read, read and use the search function.
Just joined today. I have a 99 miata that my buddy and I bought for a track car. It is pretty rough looking, but mechanically sound. We plan on putting an ls in that car. However...after driving that one, we both decided that we wanted streetable miatas to play with on a daily basis. They are too much fun, who knew (my guess is you guys knew but I needed to drive one to be convinced!)? I am looking at either an NA or NB. If you guys have any input on the pros and cons of the two, it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to stay with the 1.8l so I guess that means a 95 or above (?). It will be a few months before I can afford to buy another car, but I would like to have all of my ducks in a row when it comes time to buy.
Thanks,
Lucky

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Thanks man. Been reading a bunch, but lots of info to process. So far we have milled the head changed the head gasket, changed the timing belt and water pump, radiator and other assorted things to get her street legal(she sat for almost 8 years). All that being said, most of my reading up until tonight has been tech manuals. Been reading some on here tonight. Seems I have found a home.
