Me neither. Not a specialist really. MINIs and Miatas are completely different and "more" is pretty vague. It sounds like they want to come off as specialists but then again will work on all kinds of cars. I like that we at TDR and Rogue at Miata Solutions specialize in the Miata. We know the intricacies of the cars. We are Miata enthusiasts ourselves, only work on Miatas and you usually don't get that extra attention to detail from a shop that doesn't specialize. That's just my
I've seen the results of cars that have been serviced at general service garages and I've heard many customer horror stories of what this other mechanic said or did. Most of our customers come to us because we specialize in Miatas only and I'm sure it's the same for Rogue. YMMV
I think that's Tom McGrath's new venture... no... wait. Never mind...![]()

Never seen/heard anything about them before now. Not a good sign. Guessing they picked a few cars that they thought would bring them lots of female clientele.
Edit - it appears they have been in-business since March 2013, based on some google searching.

Location - isn't that the old British Leyland Autocenter shop?

Interesting... When I had the Mini, I hired a guy to come out to work on it at my house... He had just left Mini of Dallas, and gone to work at a Mazda shop. Wonder if it is him.
At the grocery store in Flower Mound last night I saw a '99/'00, and I went over to check it out. Black, fog lights, no roll bar, stock 14" wheels, automatic, cloth seats, retracting antenna and on the back ....

This might be the place I got my dents pulled out. I had his card, but lost it somewhere. If so, great shop (at least for paintless dent removal and paint). I can't say anything for the mechanical side of the house, but he clearly knows his Maitas after discussing them for some time.
The guy that owns this shop lives down the road from my house and has a couple miatas parked outside his shop. Here is his cl add.

I went over there Thursday, after seeing the CL posts. The shop owner's name is Hugh. His waiting room has some huge fish aquariums :)
I wouldn't knock a business for branching out and expanding scope, these days a business has to be open to capture more commerce. He wants to start utilizing his available shop space, more. Just find out how much experience they have for the work you need, and make your needs known.
We spoke for a bit, mostly about options on repairing my Miata quarter panel. He's got about 4-5 Miata runners and 6 miata parts cars. He has a lot of bays for mechanic work, and does paint and body work, as wells as paintless dent repair.
He was very nice and answered all my questions, went above and beyond to provide possible solutions for my body damage, and even offered to help me out with a set of wheels to move a parts car.
I will likely get some Miata parts from him to keep my 1990 up and running.

I live literally 2 min away from him. However I will still make the trip out to Justin to see Stevan. I trust Stevan and he's fun to talk to. I fear change and the twistys on 407 are a blast. I may send my mini buddy over there as he just wrecked it.
