Power Tour was huge!!! I'm really glad they've had events in Arlington several times. Got to see thousands of cars yesterday. Got to see Linda Vaughn, Courtney Hansen, and Vic Edelbrock too. I even got to see two cars I didn't know existed before: a 196x Pontiac Acadian http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acadian_(automobile) and a 1950 Joerns, which may well have been a one-off. It was a roadster (no top at all), Ford-powered, with flip-down half-doors. Good car day!
Didn't go to anything but saw an Alfa Montreal with Arizona plates today. I'm guessing it was here for one of those events. Beautiful car.
Now Miata-less. '05 STR S2000.

Spent some time drooling all over the Montreal at C&C.
Owner was really nice, loved to talk about his car. Popped the hood and showed me every nook and cranny. Just awesome. Little F1 DOHC V8, dry sump, you name it. Spent some time with the Alfa guys. They're all looking forward to getting a MX5-based Alfa Spyder if that ever actually makes it into the US.
