Default Trip Report: Impromptu drive to the canyons

As those who know me on Facebook are painfully aware, I took my brand-new, spotless 2013 Miata with 400 miles on the clock on a "proper" break-in drive a couple weeks back...

I still need to curate and edit some photos, but here's the whole shebang.

Warning: These photos have already caused dangerous levels of wanderlust to those who have seen them.

No Google+ from work...will have to check out when I get home today. I've been to the south rim, but not the north side.

No no no... It's "Lauren" like "Ralph." Loren was the evil green Miata driver.

Here's a tracklog... For some reason it only shows about 4 hours worth of trackpoints at a time...

Man I love that color! I just drove one of those today, I'm seriously considering trading or selling the MSM for one in white as well but with the PRHT. How do you like it so far? I only got to toss it around on a couple of corners but I felt like the steering was a bit 'dead', what's your experience?

Steering was no deader than my '02. It feels more like a light rx8 than a miata. I'm 100% happy with the car, though.
