This is the last week to get a discounted rate on sign up. The event is September 13 and 14 with a buffet on Saturday night. If you have not signed up you need to NOW! We need a better turn out than what has been signed up for as i would hate to see the event get cancelled. I know a lot of you guys have been there and hope you are coming back.
Most are staying at the Hampton Inn in Sands Spring near Tulsa. I have 5 rooms reserved and right now I probably have two rooms available, all with 2 beds. Let me know if you need a room or a bed.
Go to Hallettracing.net and then Schedule, you will see Miatas at Hallett link under September. Then click on the More Info link for the PDF form. Fill out and send ASAP.
You can contact me as well for more information.

I stay in Sand Springs, west Tulsa. The Hampton is best, that's where the banquet is. There's a couple others near there.

Anyone interested in splitting a room for Thurs/Fri/Sat? I have the reservation and is still looking for someone to split the room.

Budgetzzz in Cleveland is half the price and only 10 miles from the track.
Yep. I did the Budgetzzz the first few years and location is the ONLY thing it has going for it. It certainly is better than "the Hostel" we did a few years ago.
The Hampton is luxurious in comparison plus most everyone is staying there.

There were some stranger's pubes on my "new" bar of soap. Luckily, I brought my own shampoo. Oh, and the A/C sucked. Oh, and the carpet was mysteriously damp. Oh, and I probably should've brought a black light to check the sheets on the uncomfortable bed. Oh, and there was that batshit-crazy Okie construction worker that whipped our ass with stupid stories half the night. I'll deal with the drive to the track any time...
"The Hostel" that was billed as a "bed & breakfast" but turned out to house a handful of swine-flu-infected college dropouts?
I think the moral of the story is that you don't stray too far off the beaten path out there in Okie country...![]()
