The '02 is having an issue with a couple of the radio push buttons coming loose. Kid says one button has fallen off but she just pressed them back in place.
It is the Stock Radio. Anyone else had this issue?? Any thoughts on how to fix it??

The float is probably built in to the actual switch behind the button...check that out.

would this work - since it is a Bose unit? http://www.dfwmiata.com/threads/23946-2001-Bose-headunit?highlight=bose
i used a very small amount of super glue - i know very ghetto - but using a pin to put a few dots on the binding surfaces of a switch on the volvo controls, so far so good... i do have a replacement sitting on the bench for when i get around to it, but for the moment its holding up pretty well.

Did the radio in your first car work? If not then why does hers need to work? If it did does she know that?

My first car had an AM Radio I went to Traders Village and upgraded it to a sweet AM/FM setup with some awesome 6x9's for the rear deck.
So since this radio says BOSE on the front wouldn't this be a bit more complicated than just replacing the head unit??
the '01 and '02 units are completely different pins in the back

My '68 Mustang had AM only...it was back when replacement stereo's with FM were big bucks (and I was poor).
