I saw some neat MX-5s this morning but no owners were around to introduce myself. Was anyone there? BTW Im new to the forum, or rather a retread. I picked up a Monster this week, that needed some work. Its in the shop but should be back on the road soon.

I had a Mazda Speed a few years back. Fun Fun cars and glad to be an owner again.

I saw you. You were parked right next to a spec racer or something. I grabbed a card off your windshield. I am thinking about getting the exact tire you have and it was good to see it on a car close up. Are you pretty happy with it?

Yes, the Hankook RS3 is an excellent autocross tire for warmer events. It wears well (150+ runs) and it is super sticky when it is hot. The problem with it is it takes time to build heat and grip unless it is hot outside.

The BFG Rival is also a great tire and its grip is immediate. However, it seems to be more of a 100 run tire, so your costs are a little higher.

Cool i saw yours too. you are supercharged right? Mine is a 94 M Edition with the worst paint ever. Its getting the tranny rebuilt right now but hopefully I'll have it out next time.
