Jim m already stated that he runs 225s on 8" rims on his NB with no issues, so just go that route.

NA, NB, or NC what do you drive?

Nb fo life yo!
Here is a wheel width/offset calculator I found useful when I was looking. http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel...ulator#Results The 15x8 at 25mm offset was about as far outside the fenderwell as I could stand. Wider than 8" wheels with an offset that will clear the springs will protrude way past the fenders. I suppose that would be fine in some circles. With smaller diameter springs, you can use an offset that keeps the wheel in a little, and looks much better... in my mind at least.

I plan to keep the wheels in the above picture for daily driver use so I'm not concerned about looks I'm wanting more tire under the car when I go play autocross.![]()
This car isn't mine it is my daughters and she is nice enough to let me use it for autocross as well as pay for all the maintenance, insurance, and fuel for the car.
Hey wait a minute!
That's what daughters do.
What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.
We could swap wheels and you can try the 15x9s on your car to check fitment. It'd have to wait until about mid August or so though...
I am running 15x9 +0 with 225-45-15 no rubbing and I didn't roll my fenders.![]()
