Besides, Miatas, Track and AutoX or other car related interests, what other hobbies do you have?
We may find some of us share more than one hobby.
Another hobby of mine is reading, watching and otherwise soaking up history. Specifically I have a strong interest in WWII. It started with a high school thesis on WWII aircraft but really took off after reading Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose.
My wife and I share a hobby of going to estate sales. Even my daughter, who has been going since she was an infant likes finding vintage toys. My wife looks for vintage paper for her scrapbook hobby and I head straight for the garage looking for tools and such. I also look for WWII books. We used to collect mid-century modern furniture but since down-sizing we had to cut back on that.
Coolest find was a hidden letter in the case of a drill I bought. The letter was from a Sgt in WWII to his parents. Enclosed were a German soldier's war photographs from the invasion of France, some personal letters on Nazi letterhead signed with the salutation "Heil Hitler" and some postcards from Prague. Obviously they were captured from a German soldier by the U.S. Sgt and sent home. I'd like to think his father hid the letter in the drill box to keep it from the mother as some of the photos were a bit graphic. The photos were of a dead French soldier, dead horses, burning tanks, crashed airplanes, destroyed bridges and towns and strangely a baseball game. Did the German's play baseball?
Along with that, I like restoring or re-purposing items found at the estate sales. I recently picked up an old steel roll-around cart for $10. A bit of paint and new hardware and it looks like new. It is a perfect tool cart.

There is something beyond track and autocross?
M3 is always the answer.
I am a Licensed Amature Radio Operator. I am skywatch trained and am active in our local ARES (Amature Radio Emergency Services) group. The club I belong to also volunteers as Health and Welfare communications operators for various events around Denton County over the course of the year. This last weekend we supported the Swim/Run in Little Elm and next weekend we will be providing support for the Tour De Cure Bicycle rally at Texas Motor Speedway.
I also enjoy building projects. The last couple of years this has been my camp trailer.
Saltwater aquariums.
Mountain biking and snow skiing, neither of which I have enough time to pursue.

Is "not pissing off the wife" a hobby? That's what I attempt in my spare time.
Whatever it's considered, I'm not very good at it.
I'm a artist, do airbrushing and painting, musician play the piano, guitar, bass,drums.dumbek,sing...I ride my Harley alot... And go to the gym...
I run, and work on computers, and run. This year I'll do my 10th Marathon. I usually just sit around looking at dumb ass funny stuff on the internet though. This site is a good example!! LOL
Shooting guns -I'm not a gun nerd, but I love shooting mine.
SCUBA diving. Cold water, mud, tropical, whatever, I'll dive it. One day hope to get a legit ice dive logged (not just Syracuse winter dives).
Sky diving. None of that tandem nonsense. A solo jump is probably the most calming thing I can think of to date.
Snowboarding. Obviously not so much anymoreI do break out the board and hit a few rails locally when we get enough snow for a ghetto lead-in.
Movies. I have over 1000 store-bought DVDs/blu-rays, and close to 2k "back-up" discs. And yes, I've watched them all.
Jetskiing. Stand-up only. Currently gearing up to finish the motor swap in my old Superjet. Barrel rolls this year, I can feel it.
Shifter karting. Just picked up a CRG Road Rebel with a modded '99 CR125 with 6sp tranny. Made the Turbo Miata feel like a sloppy slow assed pick-up, hence not caring too much about parting it out after owning it for 10 years.
Gardening. I love growing veggies for some odd reason. This house is a HUGE "eff you" on this one though
Cycling. Love my Cannondale. Don't ride it nearly enough though
If you ask my wife she will say anything that is dangerous and expensive. I'm no adrenaline freak, but I do seem to gravitate to "dangerous" activities, and most have a fairly steep buy-in.
I'm a cyclist. Mostly road, but dirt when my schedule allows. Most days, I'd rather spend an extra hour pedaling versus loading the bike on the car, driving to a trailhead, etc...
My wife plays with horses. Once the new baby gets here, I will be a supportive husband and take her toquilting showshorse shows.
I used to backpack. Hope to again. Used to live within an hour of many trailheads along the Appalachian Trail, though...
Used to motorcycle. Had a bad experience, took a long break, rode again for a few years, got hit by a truck, kept riding, and recently decided that I can get my motorcycle dosage on a race track where it's safer if I feel that need again.
Stunt kites. I've played with various hobby flying things, but stunt kites and I get along nicely.
