When did 95 become extreme heat? Back in my day........
I think it is the slave not returning to '"home" so the clutch stays engaged but why it randomly does this I don't have a clue. I believe my clutch is all still stock at 152,000 miles it is so random on when it wants to act the fool I can't get my head around the problem. It has done it 2 times this summer once in Traffic on I35, and once downtown FTW. The only constant is it is hot 95+ outside when it does this trick.
Last time it did this to us I jumped on the clutch pedal a bunch of time and it fixed itself.
That is why I'm theorizing the slave is somehow hanging. The hydraulics on the slave only push it out (disengage) the hydraulics do not return it to the engaged position. No hydraulic pressure is generated unless you are pressing the pedal.
The only solution the interwebz ever talks about is to change the slave out for a new one.... Which is easier said than done!![]()
