Default Nice price or crack pipe?

Here's a little gem that's sat waiting for 24 years in the cornfields of Indiana.

If you want to keep it as a collectible, it's not a bad deal, I suppose. Comes with a hard top. Go in with an $8k cash offer and see what you can get.

If you want to actually drive the car, buy one with normal miles for a normal price.

Seems odd. Look at the wear on the seats and particularly the steering wheel. That doesn't look like aging or sun fading...

I'd wager that it is a disconnected-speedo car, with more than 240 miles. If its truly what he says, then the seller is failing at marketing it well.

What he said. Seats and steering wheel look like they've seen far more than 240 miles, unless the previous owner just liked to sit in it and make "vroom vroom" noises.

Now that you mention it, it also lacks the "Mazda" sticker on the front bumper skin - which screams of a respray.

Crack. Pipe. Something's definitely not right about that car.

It's parked in front of a body shop. What are the odds?

I thought Tom McGrath died. Perhaps he faked his death and moved to Indiana to start fucking other Miata owners?
