Default NC new radiator Trans cooler ports

Hello! Reaplacing my 2006 MX-5 radiator. New radiator has trans cooling ports. Do you plug or cap them off if they are not going to be used? Car is a 6-speed manual trans.

    Thanks,
    Pat

I just ignored the ones on my '02 since they weren't going to be doing anything once the radiator was installed.

Same here. I think ignoring them is fine. It would be a nice touch to route the PS fluid through there.

If it does you got yourself a bad radiator.

The automatic transmission fluid flows through them so it's a separate system. You can leave them open.

Thank a ton for the knowledge! I Picked it up the car a month ago. had a blown engine. Put a new used engine in (pulled and replaced from the top contrary to what all the manuals say for an NC). Hopefully she will be fired up this weekend!
