Damn, we were both at Kellers tonight, you could have heard them. I scared my girlfriend the first (of many...) time I got cut off tonight and I had to lay on the horn at someone.
They kind of sound like a train horn if you just blip them, but when you lay on it, they're electronic sounding and kind of annoying, which is kind of the point.

Similar story here. i have a QX56, Expedition, Volvo C70, Mustang and Miata in the herd. Too many distracted drivers. Use motorcycle riding philosophy - stay out of the pack and assume no one sees you. Works for the most part. unless someone just flat ass throws it in reverse at a stop sign... sigh.. It is not just small cars they don't see. When Ihad my RAM 3500 with ALL the lights on (cab top, runing, headlights, fog lights...), I would still have people cut me off and pull out in front of me. They just don't pay attention. Luckily it had huge bakes and handled resonably well. Those kept me out of trouble many a time.

Thanks guys. Thankfully my son is completely fine. The car seems to be in better shape than the photos relay. I'm sure they will total it. I need a donor to cut and re weld some structure forward of the shocks but the shock towers look untouched. I drove it off the flatbed and into the garage. Something was pushed back far enough to touch a belt but it isn't leaking any oil and only a very little bit of antifreeze.

I'm impressed.
