    Default 94 and 96 compatibility

Is it safe to assume the body and other parts from a 96 Miata would fit fine on a 94? Thanks

Yes. One thing to remember is the '94 is OBDI, '96 OBDII.

Yep, most of the Miata Im putting together has 95+ parts. I have a 1990.

94 has a real oil pressure gauge. To retain it, swap the 94 gauge and sender in. Airbag wiring on 1994 is closer to the 90-93 where as the 95-97 is different.
    ...and across the line.

I have 94 Monster that runs like a beast but every bit of the body is damaged and needs paint (I cant even use the doors). It may be cheaper for me to buy another Miata and transfer over the parts then buy a body kit, have it installed and painted. On the plus side I will have all kinds of leftover parts when I need them.

What do yall think? Any other ideas?

Saw a clean black 94 auto near Alliance for a cheap price, good swap candidate, plus has ABS!
